• ✓At medium to long ranges, its high-spread multishots excels in horde-clearing, allowing it to fully utilize on-kill Jokers on large crowds (such as Cactus Day and Shroom Grave). At close ranges, its raw multihit damage will be concentrated on single enemies, making it super powerful when equipped with on-hit Jokers (such as Explosive Rounds (Pyro) and Pick Pick).

• ✗Due to its spread, the Shotgun has very strict range requirements when dealing with situations. Its raw damage is highly reduced when dealing with single enemies at longer ranges, and without proper mobility to keep distance, being surrounded by enemies means certain doom. Therefore, mobility augments (such as spells like Boing and Jokers like Moon Gravity) are recommended.
• ✗Similar to the Leveredge, it suffers from a lengthy reload as its rounds are reloaded individually, which may be a hindrance during combat situations, especially with clip size upgrades. Improvements on reload speed (through upgrades and Jokers such as Reload Mastery) may help reduce its downtime.
